1,032
Iran's government has released an official tally of the people detained since the election June 12th. Iran’s police chief, Brig. Gen. Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam, gave his statement to the government-run FARS news agency, emphasizing that most have already been released:
"Those who are still in detention have been sent to the public and revolutionary courts in Tehran."
And added further:
"The police behavior towards the illegal gatherings staged during the final days of unrests was completely legal."
Anyone have any thoughts in regard to the 1,032 number?
